Bio-Electric Therapy

Bioelectric Treatment for Pain Relief

Café of Life Marin offers state-of-the-art bioelectric treatment as a drug-free option for pain control and relief. Bioelectric therapy is non-invasive, non-toxic, safe and effective.

Bioelectric therapy relieves pain by blocking pain signals to the brain. When you are injured or you have a chronic condition, pain receptors send a message to the central nervous system (your brain and spinal cord). The message is registered as pain by certain cells in the body. At Café of Life, Marin, we use bioelectric currents to interrupt pain signals before they reach the brain. Bioelectric therapy also prompts the body to produce endorphins, which helps to relieve pain.

Depending on your needs, bioelectric treatment can provide the following benefits:

  • Stimulate peripheral nerves, providing pain relief
  • Stimulate motor nerves, providing muscle re-education
  • Relieve chronic pain conditions
  • Manage and provide symptomatic relief of chronic (long-term) pain
  • Manage post-surgical pain problems
  • Relax muscles spasms
  • Prevent retardation of tissue atrophy
  • Increased local blood circulation
  • Immediate post surgical stimulation of the calf muscles to prevent phlebothrombosis

Cafe of Life Marin offers state-of-the-art bioelectric treatment for patients throughout Marin County, Sonoma County, Northern San Francisco, Mill Valley, Corte Madera, Larkspur, Sausalito, Tiburon, Belvedere, Kentfield, Ross, San Rafael, The Presidio and The Marina.

Testimonial

  • "Cafe of Life Chiropractic Center were highly recommended to me by a few of my neighbors. I had some long time lower back and neck issues that were bothering me -- and it was just time to fix the problem. I signed up for a 2 month program -- and wow, the results are amazing. My neck is moving again, my lower back feels great, and other parts are that I didn’t know were stuck are moving again too! Cafe of Life is technology forward -- I love the scans of my back so that I can see the progress. They also have complimentary services like massage too. The team over at Cafe of Life is professional, fun and on top of their game. Scheduling is easy -- little to no waiting when I arrive for my adjustment. Love these guys!"
